Derek Carr, the record-setting Fresno State quarterback taken in the second round of this month's NFL draft, has signed a four-year contract with the Oakland Raiders.

Carr became the fifth of the team's eight picks from this year's class to sign, with General Manager Reggie McKenzie announcing the agreement Wednesday.

The deal is worth $5,371,802, according to's Ian Rapoport, who cited an anonymous source who has seen the contract.

Carr was selected 36th overall after setting 27 school and 21 Mountain West Conference
